What I learned

Here's what I found in my research, the root of being overweight is found in our daily habits.

The best way to explain how our current daily habits are working against us is by using The Universal Law of Cause and Effect. It says that the cause creates the effect.

 
But in weight loss, we only focus on treating the effect (the extra weight) with diets, workout programs, surgeries, etc. that we forget all about the cause (our daily habits).
 
This is why, 9 out of 10 people who lose weight gain it back.

If we want lasting results, we must work on replacing our unhealthy habits (the cause) for healthy habits…and the extra weight (the effect) will gradually come off… and stay off!​
